We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the day-to-day operations of the Department of Public Health, Environments and Society (PHES) in the Faculty of Public Health and Policy.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Department's staffing, finances, research projects, and other resources.
- Line manage a team of professional services staff in PHES and maintain close oversight of the administration needs of the Department.
- Work closely with the Head of Department to ensure an excellent service is provided to support all staff and research projects.
- Ensure the Department's operations are aligned with the Faculty's strategic objectives.
- Higher education to degree level or equivalent.
- Substantial relevant experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive salary on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £43,947 - £49,908 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting).
- Annual leave entitlement of 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff.
- Discretionary 'Wellbeing Days'.
- Membership of the Pension Scheme.
