Risk Analyst - Risk Acknowledgement Mitigation Plan

AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to drive the company's security risk posture. The successful candidate will work under the responsibility of the Head of IS Services and Risk Management or delegate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support business and IT stakeholders in creating Risk Acknowledgement and Mitigation Plans (RAMPs)
  • Ensure RAMPs are properly formatted and complete to facilitate a smooth RAMP process
  • Communicate weekly on new or reviewed RAMPs in the RRG
  • Animate the weekly RAMP Review Group
  • Maintain an audit trail of RAMP-associated decisions and act as secretary for RRG meetings
  • Manage and maintain the RAMP register, a consistent record of all RAMPs raised, their current status, expiry date, and mitigation details
  • Ensure timely processing of Risk Acknowledgement through due process
  • Become familiar with policy changes and supporting standards to ensure RAMPs reference the correct risk and RAMP metrics accurately reflect the overall status
  • Produce monthly reporting to local IT, Security, and Risk governance on acknowledged/accepted residual risks and monitored risks
  • Act as a champion for Information Security, providing assistance with information risk raising and explaining current policy as required
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Risk Management and/or Information Security
  • Expert in synthesizing and communicating complex information to all audiences up to C-Level leaders
  • Experience in articulating risks in business language and advising on risk management action
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to create clear, concise, and engaging presentations breaking down difficult problems
  • Expert analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Experience in multinational companies
  • Strong knowledge of Risk management and Risk management frameworks (ISO 31000X, NIST 800-30/37/39, ENISA, EBIOS, OCTAVE, FAIR)
  • Effective knowledge of Information Security frameworks (Mitre ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27000X...)
  • Experience in information security management reporting and related methodologies
  • Information Security and/or Information Technology industry certification (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
