Senior Insights Manager for Business Intelligence

Position Overview:
As the Lead Business Intelligence Strategist, you will spearhead our Business Intelligence division, directly reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence. Your primary focus will be on delivering impactful analyses and insights tailored for the (re)insurance sector. You will play a crucial role in developing client deliverables, engaging with key stakeholders, and influencing strategic decision-making within our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with senior stakeholders across various internal departments to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and managing essential relationships.
- Generate financial reports while proactively identifying new opportunities for insight generation to promote continuous improvement.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of competitive market strategies, focusing on product, market, and share trends.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all management levels.
- Lead Business Intelligence (BI) projects as necessary.
- Collaborate with BI Analysts to perform comprehensive financial analyses, benchmarking, and deliver actionable insights tailored to industry stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Utilize SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Analyze, interpret, and visualize data using tools such as PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable business intelligence role, ideally within the insurance or reinsurance industry, with a proven track record of delivering insightful commercial and financial analyses.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, essential for translating complex insurance and financial data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation, along with experience in developing interactive dashboards using Power BI.
- Advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint for crafting comprehensive reports and presentations.
