Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly committed School Business Manager to support the Head teacher in the day-to-day running of the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective leadership and management skills, with a robust background in Finance, ER, and HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the school's finance and operations team, ensuring the effective management of budgets and resources.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the school.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Head teacher on financial and operational matters.
  • Manage the school's HR function, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and safeguarding.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including suppliers and contractors.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in finance, ER, and HR.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and systems.
