Job Title: Head of Commercial

Allen Lane is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Commercial to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Commercial Department, ensuring the organization has the necessary resources and capabilities to support the delivery of its mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Commercial Department, including setting targets and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure the organization has the necessary resources and capabilities to support the delivery of its mission.
  • Develop and implement the commercial procurement strategy to deliver key strategies.
  • Lead on all decision-making in the area of procurement and commercial contracts.
  • Provide commercial advice on all aspects of procurement and commercial contracts.

Requirements:

  • Extensive public sector procurement experience at a senior level.
  • Strong leadership, engagement, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement commercial procurement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
