Brook Street is seeking a temporary Administrative Support Officer to join our team. This role involves providing essential administrative assistance within a public sector environment.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, requiring 37 hours of work per week, typically from 08:30 to 17:00, subject to business requirements.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is competitive, with an increase after a specified period of service.
Training:
Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to perform your duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Administrative Support Officer, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Data entry and management
- General administrative tasks
- Preparation and maintenance of both physical and digital records
- Communication with clients and judicial members
- Addressing inquiries through various channels
- Handling postal responsibilities
- Engaging with the public and court users
- Updating records using internal systems and software
- Maintaining both manual and electronic documentation
Essential Skills:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:
- Prior experience in an administrative capacity
- Strong typing and data entry abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to follow directives accurately
- Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
- Attention to detail and effective workload prioritization
