Job Title: Hourly PA

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to support our client as a personal assistant (PA) in her daily life. The ideal candidate will provide support and companionship to our client, enabling her to maintain her independence and engage in various activities that enhance her overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily life activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Provide companionship and support during outings, such as visiting the community hub or engaging in hobbies.
  • Help and support in and around the house, including light housekeeping and laundry.
  • Assist with accessing the community and engaging in activities that promote independence.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover.
  • Calm, reassuring, caring, and patient demeanor.
  • Understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for our client's privacy.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate our client's needs.
  • Knowledge or experience in looking after individuals with Alzheimer's.
Terms and Conditions:
  • The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.
  • Hours and times of work: 5 Hrs Per Week, time discussed further at interview.
  • Annual holiday entitlement: equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks.
  • Free Care Skills training provided to employed staff.
  • The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
