Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to patients in their own homes across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting blood tests and toxicity assessments to ensure patient safety and optimal treatment outcomes
  • Administering IV and oral chemotherapy medications to patients in their homes
  • Performing pump disconnections and line care to maintain patient comfort and prevent complications
  • Providing IM/SC injections to patients as required
  • Working independently in the community while staying connected with the wider nursing team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and therapies to provide the best possible care to patients
  • Contributing to the development of innovative care models to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • An active NMC Pin as a Registered RGN Nurse
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy
  • Skills in Cannulation and Venepuncture
  • A valid Driving Licence
  • A SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
