The practice offers a comprehensive suite of accounting, taxation, and financial advisory services to a varied clientele, including individuals, sole proprietors, partnerships, and small limited companies, with a particular emphasis on growth-oriented businesses and entrepreneurs. The team is celebrated for its nurturing and supportive work environment, providing opportunities to engage with a diverse range of private clients and high-net-worth individuals.

Role Objective:
This role is well-suited for a seasoned Chartered Tax Consultant who thrives on delivering expert advice in their specialization. The successful applicant will have significant opportunities to provide advisory services and cultivate their own advisory portfolio. While the position includes overseeing a manageable Private Client compliance portfolio, the main focus will be on offering bespoke advice in specialized areas. These areas may encompass Inheritance Tax (IHT), Non-Resident/Non-Domicile considerations, Tax Efficient Remuneration Planning and Structuring, Corporation Tax, Research & Development, Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), Trusts, Capital Gains Tax, or other relevant topics. The role also provides the opportunity to delve into new areas of expertise with suitable support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial consultations with clients to ascertain their needs
  • Provide customized advice to clients throughout the engagement
  • Investigate tax-related issues and solutions
  • Oversee a small portfolio of tax returns, from client inquiries to submissions
  • Review the work of junior team members
  • Identify and promote new tax advisory opportunities for both existing and prospective clients

QualificationsEssential Qualifications:
  • CTA qualified with experience in Personal Tax advisory
  • Professional and personable communication skills with clients
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and track performance metrics
  • Evidence of prior tax advisory experience may be requested
