Role Objective:
This position is tailored for a seasoned Chartered Tax Consultant who thrives on delivering expert advice in their specialized fields. The successful applicant will have numerous opportunities to engage in advisory projects and cultivate their own advisory portfolio. While the role encompasses managing a modest Private Client compliance portfolio, the primary focus will be on providing bespoke advice in specialized areas. These areas may encompass Inheritance Tax (IHT), Non-Resident/Non-Domicile considerations, Tax Efficient Remuneration Planning and Structuring, Corporation Tax, Research & Development, Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), Trusts, Capital Gains Tax, or other relevant fields of interest. The role also provides the opportunity to delve into new areas of expertise with appropriate guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial consultations with clients to ascertain their needs
  • Provide customized advice to clients throughout the entire engagement
  • Investigate tax-related issues and propose solutions
  • Oversee a small portfolio of tax returns, from client requests to final submissions
  • Review the work of junior team members
  • Identify and promote new tax advisory opportunities for both existing and prospective clients

QualificationsEssential Qualifications:
  • CTA qualified with a background in advising on Personal Tax matters
  • Professional and personable communication skills with clients
  • Highly organized with outstanding time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and track performance targets
  • Evidence of prior tax advisory experience may be requested
