The practice offers a comprehensive suite of accountancy, tax, and financial advisory services to a varied clientele, including individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies, with a particular emphasis on growth-oriented businesses and entrepreneurs. The team is celebrated for its supportive and nurturing work environment, providing opportunities to engage with a diverse range of private clients and high-net-worth individuals.

Role Objective:
This position is well-suited for a seasoned Chartered Tax Consultant who thrives on delivering expert advice in their specialized fields. The successful applicant will have numerous opportunities to engage in advisory work and cultivate their own advisory portfolio. While the role encompasses managing a modest Private Client compliance portfolio, the primary focus will be on providing bespoke advice in specialized areas. These areas may encompass Inheritance Tax (IHT), Non-Resident/Non-Domicile issues, Tax Efficient Remuneration Planning and Structuring, Corporation Tax, Research & Development, Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), Trusts, Capital Gains Tax, or other areas of interest. The role also presents the opportunity to explore new areas of expertise with appropriate support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial client consultations to assess needs
  • Provide tailored advice to clients throughout the entire process
  • Research tax-related issues and solutions
  • Manage a small portfolio of tax returns from client requests to submissions
  • Review the work of junior team members
  • Identify and promote new tax advisory opportunities for existing and prospective clients

QualificationsEssential Qualifications:
  • CTA qualified with experience in Personal Tax advisory
  • Personable yet professional communication skills with clients
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines and monitor performance targets
  • Evidence of prior tax advisory experience may be requested
