About the Role:

We are looking for a registered Ultrasound Technologist with a strong background in maternal fetal medicine to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound scans using a portable device, interacting with patients, and working collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of department records, reports, and files.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Record and code examination results, complete medical documentation, and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Adhere to quality and infection control standards, troubleshoot technical issues, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in maternal fetal medicine.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Strong customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn new procedures and protocols.
