Job Description:

Tendering:

  • Manage and prepare Tender commercial tender submissions that ensure full compliance with the Tender Documentation.
  • Prepare Technical submissions with support from Operations where needed.
  • Back up Tenders with quotes and full build up explaining a strategy and route to ensure agreed margin.
  • Review and check Contract Documents commercially and complete.

Commercial:

  • Manage the commercial resources (people and finance) of the assigned projects to meet and improve planned gross margin.
  • Control of contracts, labour, materials and subcontracts.
  • Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Concept policies for Risk management.
  • Support the authorisation and submission of project variations.
  • Authorise the placement of contracts, subcontracts, Material and plant orders.
  • Maximise cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers in line with accounting procedures and dates.

Requirements:

  • Experience of NEC forms or similar forms of Contract required.
  • Commercially astute with a strong understanding of the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
