Quantity Surveyor Job Description

Crescent Specialist Recruitment - CSR NI Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years post-graduate experience and a strong understanding of commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze contract documents, including bills of quantities and preliminaries.
  • Assist in establishing client requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Advise on procurement strategy and financial controlling accountability.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Prepare and analyze tender returns, and provide advice on contractual claims.
  • Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  • Re-measure projects to ensure accuracy and match with estimators' bills of quantities.
  • Manage valuation and sub-contractor invoicing, and be aware of different building contracts in current use.
  • Perform risk and value management, cost control, and liaise with professional teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
