Job Summary

We're looking for a seasoned Event & Sales Manager to oversee end-to-end event management, from concept to completion. You'll be responsible for managing event operations, logistics, and client relationships, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee event planning, coordination, and execution, including logistics, health and safety, and vendor negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to align event details and requirements.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and deadlines.
  • Train, brief, and delegate responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and efficiency in their roles.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in end-to-end event management, preferably within the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Strong background in planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing catering operations for various event types.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and health & safety compliance, particularly related to catering and food handling.
  • Track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and managing expectations.
  • Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and managing client accounts.
  • Competence in budgeting and financial management for events, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team, including delegating tasks and overseeing team performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to anticipating and addressing potential issues.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project management software.
