At Sweco, we're seeking a talented Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team of Difference Makers. As a key member of our Mechanical and Electrical Engineers team, you'll work collaboratively to develop holistic solutions that address complex challenges in the water industry.

About the Role

We're looking for an individual with a degree in mechanical engineering and chartered status with the IMechE. Your extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical design for the water industry will enable you to deliver innovative designs and specifications on water-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver mechanical designs for water industry projects
  • Collaborate with engineers from all disciplines to optimize and develop bespoke designs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and environmental regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
