About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Rehabilitation Assistant to join our Neuro Rehab Team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist therapists in implementing care plans and supporting the rehabilitation of clients with neurological conditions.
  • Provide health education and advice to patients, carers, and their families.
  • Support the Community Neurorehabilitation service by carrying out delegated duties.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and produce communication charts as required.
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients to carry out rehabilitation programmes.
Person Specification
  • Good English literacy and mathematical numeracy.
  • Level 3 in Healthcare or demonstrated evidence of working at that level.
  • Therapy-based assistant experience and rehabilitating patients in a health setting.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to communicate in a variety of different situations.
