Paid Social Media Manager - 12 Month Maternity Cover

Neilson Financial Services is a leading provider of life insurance solutions, with a strong presence in the UK and Canada. We are seeking a highly skilled Paid Social Media Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover basis.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual with a passion for digital marketing and a proven track record in paid social media marketing at scale. As a Paid Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing targeted paid social media strategies focused on lead generation and performance metrics within the UK market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation Focused Strategies: Devise and execute paid social media strategies with a primary focus on high-scale lead generation, conversion optimization, and achieving high-performance metrics.
  • Performance Driven Campaign Management: Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of high-scale ad campaigns, rigorously focusing on performance indicators such as CPA, CPL, and ROI, ensuring content is optimized for sales delivery.
  • Data-Driven Analytics and Reporting: Utilize advanced analytics to monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance with an emphasis on lead generation metrics, making data-informed decisions to continuously optimize campaigns.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with creative, compliance, and other teams to create campaigns, feeding back creative performance insights to drive future campaign development.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with a strong preference for specialization in digital marketing or performance marketing.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in paid social media marketing at scale with a clear focus on lead generation, performance marketing, and conversion optimization, with life insurance experience desirable but not essential.
  • Expertise: Expertise in utilizing social media platforms to drive leads and sales, with a strong focus on performance analytics and optimization. Extensive experience driving leads through Meta is required. Lead generation experience through other platforms is desirable but not essential (TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube).
  • Advanced Skills: Advanced skills in analytics and performance measurement, with a proficiency in tools and techniques for tracking lead generation and conversion metrics.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking with a performance and ROI-driven mindset, capable of translating data insights into actionable lead generation strategies.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple performance-focused campaigns simultaneously.
