Financial Assistant Job Description

The JAQ Group is a leading e-commerce group in the UK, with a strong focus on growth and expansion. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our finance team based in Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Financial Controller and finance team in ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Play a key role in maintaining up-to-date and fully reconciled financial systems across our group of brands.
  • Assist in the preparation and posting of payroll information to financial and banking systems.
  • Review and improve financial processes and controls, encouraging automation efficiencies where possible.
  • Input and support in preparation of financial information, such as cash flow reporting, financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Uphold the company brand and values.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role (minimum 5+ years).
  • Advanced IT skills and experience of working with high-volume data sets.
  • Experience using e-commerce/finance/payroll software.
  • Holds or working towards an accounting qualification (desirable but not essential).
