Ramsay Health Care is seeking a dedicated Hospital Engineer to enhance our operational team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to legal standards through systematic preventative maintenance and responsive repairs across the facility.
- Provide Engineering Maintenance and troubleshooting support to the healthcare environment.
- Deliver proficient Technical, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidance and assistance.
- Supervise and support the Engineering team in executing their responsibilities.
- Analyze fault logs and assign suitable resources to each task within your designated area.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in managing a Maintenance team.
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities along with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Legionella prevention protocols applicable to healthcare facilities.
- High level of organizational and time management skills, especially in environments with competing priorities.
- Proficient fault diagnosis techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- AP / MGPS Medical Gases certification.
- AP / D Decontamination training.
- IOSH Health and Safety / Risk Assessment qualifications.
- L8 / ACOP Legionella training.
