Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited, a leading recruitment agency based in the UK.
This role offers a unique blend of financial planning and analysis, with a focus on providing high-quality financial data and insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary on financial performance.
- Provide financial data and insights to support commercial decision-making.
- Oversee the consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and five-year plans for the division.
- Work closely with the FP&A Manager to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies.
- Manage one to two direct reports and support their development.
- Partner with finance and non-finance personnel to achieve business objectives.
- Support the preparation of the full-year budget, quarterly reforecasts, and 5-year plan.
- Review and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide end-of-year audit support and explanations to auditors.
- Oversee Capex reporting and analysis, including review and feedback of investments appraisal and capital employment performance.
Requirements:
- Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven track record of building excellent working relationships with senior leaders of a large-sized business.
- Strong system skills, including advanced Excel and Power BI.
