Job Summary

This is a senior-level position within the finance department, offering a unique blend of financial planning, analysis, and strategic partnership. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and informing key decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary on financial performance, to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  2. Commercial Decision Support: Provide financial data and insights to inform commercial decision-making, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  3. Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with the FP&A Manager and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  4. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, review and prepare financial reports, and provide end-of-year audit support.
  5. Strategic Planning: Support the development of the full-year budget, quarterly reforecasts, and 5-year plan for I&C Collections.
  6. Capex Management: Oversee Capex reporting and analysis, including review and feedback of investments appraisal and capital employment performance.
Requirements
  1. Professional Qualifications: Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  2. Leadership and Relationship-Building: Proven track record of building excellent working relationships with senior leaders of a large-sized business.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong system skills, including advanced Excel and Power BI.
