About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team at Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in providing financial data and insights to support commercial decision-making and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary on financial performance, to finance and non-finance personnel.
  • Provide financial data and insights to support commercial decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Oversee the consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and five-year plans for the division.
  • Work closely with the FP&A Manager to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies to enhance financial planning and analysis capabilities.
  • Manage one to two direct reports and support their development and growth within the team.
  • Partner with finance and non-finance personnel to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support the preparation of the full-year budget, quarterly reforecasts, and five-year plan for I&C Collections.
  • Review and prepare balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide end-of-year audit support, including providing full and adequate explanations to auditors as required.
  • Support acquisition accounting and integration activities as needed.
  • Oversee Capex reporting and analysis, including review and feedback of investments appraisal and capital employment performance.
Requirements
  • Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven track record of building excellent working relationships with senior leaders of a large-sized business.
  • Strong system skills, including advanced Excel and Power BI.
