Position Overview
Lancashire County Council is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Transport Services support team within the Integrated Transport Services division.
In this role, you will report directly to the Transport Administration Manager and collaborate with a county-wide team, providing essential support to our service delivery operations in specialized transport and fleet services. You will also take on the responsibilities of the Administration Manager during their absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operational functions of the transport and fleet services.
- Assist in the management of administrative tasks and processes.
- Act as a deputy for the Administration Manager when required.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a qualified individual, ideally with a background in business administration and strong interpersonal skills.
The successful applicant will possess effective leadership and people management abilities, along with a comprehensive understanding of business administration, preferably within a transport or fleet service context.
Communication Skills
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing service delivery teams and senior management across various related services while fostering strong working relationships.
