Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our clients' drainage and highway projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SuDS, surface, and foul water drainage systems

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to complete S184, S278 & S38 Highway agreements with Councils

• Handle S104 / S185 / 106 agreements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Design external levels and drainage systems, including hardstand design and detailing

• Conduct surface water hydraulic modeling and prepare Flood Risk Assessments for planning

• Develop drainage strategies for planning applications and implement 2D highway design in accordance with Local Authority Guidelines

• Create 3D earthworks models and design 3D highways using Civils 3D

• Design 3D drainage systems using Civils 3D and manage projects and team workloads

• Assist with proposals and attend Client-facing meetings as required

• Liaise with external bodies such as water authorities, EA, LLFA, Highways, and Planning authorities

Requirements:

• Experience in infrastructure engineering and proficiency with AutoCAD

• Familiarity with Civils 3D and knowledge of Causeway Flow or Microdrainage

• Ability to manage projects and workloads effectively and possess strong communication and client-facing skills

• Experience with highway and drainage design and understanding of S106, S104, S185 agreements
