- Drainage Strategies: Develop drainage strategies for planning submissions, taking into account site-specific requirements and constraints.
- Highway Design: Prepare 2D highway designs, adhering to Local Authority Guidelines and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 3D Modelling: Engage in 3D earthworks modelling and design 3D highways and drainage systems using Civils 3D, with provided training.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with younger staff members to broaden their knowledge and skills, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and development.
- Project Management: Manage smaller schemes and oversee Technicians, ensuring timely completion and effective project management.
- Senior Engineer Support: Assist Senior Engineers on larger projects, providing technical expertise and support as needed.
Job Requirements:
Essential Skills and Experience: Candidates should possess experience in infrastructure engineering and a good understanding of the following software:
- AutoCAD: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for this role.
- Civils 3D: Experience with Civils 3D is preferred but not essential.
- Causeway Flow (or Microdrainage): Familiarity with Causeway Flow or Microdrainage is required.
