The Role

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Leicester. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and drafting of SuDS schemes, private external works, Section 38 and Section 104 works for adoption. You will also be involved in the design and drafting of civil engineering works for a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and drafting of SuDS schemes, private external works, Section 38 and Section 104 works for adoption
  • Design and drafting of civil engineering works for a variety of sectors
  • Planning and organisation of tasks, people and resources to deliver projects on time and in accordance with current design guidelines
  • Collaboration with the civil engineering team to deliver high-quality projects

Requirements

  • 5-10 years' experience as a senior civil engineer
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and basic health and safety
  • Logical analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD for technical drawing
  • Experience in the use of Microdrainage and PDS industry standard software
  • Civils 3D would be advantageous
