We are seeking a skilled and dedicated School Staff Nurse to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a School Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of children and young people in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a school nursing caseload for a group of schools, working closely with Band 6 SCPHN School Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide health assessments, classroom teaching, and safeguarding services to students and their families.
- Work collaboratively with professionals from multiple agencies to meet the health needs of children and young people.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with schools, families, and community partners.
- Contribute to the provision of safe and reliable services by using clinical judgment and risk assessments.
- Escalate safety concerns and act as an effective advocate for those who use our services.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Registered nurse (RN1) qualification and current NMC registration.
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of service delivery.
- Positive attitude with strong degree of personal integrity.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
