Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at TechNichols Resourcing Ltd. As a Senior Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and technical work in our factory, leading a team of up to 15 staff members on shift. Your role will involve a mix of management and hands-on work, with an estimated split of 70% management and 30% hands-on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance and technical work in the factory, both proactively and reactively.
  • Lead a team of up to 15 staff members on shift, providing guidance, training, and delegation of work.
  • Plan and schedule work, utilizing and maximizing the CMMS system to minimize downtime.
  • Establish and combat recurring problems, implementing first fix right fix solutions.
  • Provide necessary training to engineers to upskill and develop their weaknesses.
  • Manage a team of Engineers, including Maintenance Team Leaders, Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Managers, and Engineering Managers.
  • Familiarize yourself with a maintenance management system and delegate work to a team.
  • Exposure and promotion of Health & Safety and Compliance Procedures.
  • Computer literate.

Requirements:

  • Great staff/people management skills and experience.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team.
