Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

- Maintenance Strategy Management: Ensuring all maintenance tasks align with the company's strategy and goals, driving business growth and efficiency.
- Team Management: Leading the maintenance team to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance, performance evaluations, and team development, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Leadership and Performance Management: Driving change, managing performance (both high and low), identifying training needs, and providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure team members reach their full potential.
- Supervisor and Coordinator Management: Overseeing Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Coordinators to effectively manage contractors, stock, and maintenance schedules, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.
- Compliance Management: Ensuring compliance with legislation, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards like ISO certifications, maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilising root cause analysis to drive improvements in maintenance processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing effective solutions.
- Attendance and Performance Monitoring: Reporting any issues related to staff attendance, punctuality, and performance to management, ensuring accountability and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Disciplinary Procedures: Conducting investigations in line with company policies regarding disciplinary and health and safety matters, maintaining a fair and consistent approach.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- At least three years of experience managing a maintenance team, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in fast-paced maintenance environments, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) maintenance and fault-finding skills, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience in the waste and recycling sector is advantageous, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
- Competency with Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and other software tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills, especially when working with multi-skilled teams, with a focus on employee development and engagement.
