Keltbray Infrastructure Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support our Transmission projects in the UK.
As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation is accurately controlled, up-to-date, and easily accessible to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with Project Teams
Work closely with project teams to ensure they have a thorough understanding of document control procedures and provide training and guidance as needed to ensure compliance.
Contractual RequirementsIdentify and interpret contractual requirements related to document control, ensuring that all documentation meets the necessary standards.
Process ImprovementContinuously evaluate and enhance document control procedures and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Information ManagementContribute to the development, documentation, and maintenance of the Information Management Plan to meet relevant requirements, such as ISO 9001.
Documentation SupportProvide timely feedback to the Design Manager on documentation issues and ensure that all personnel are aware of new document versions and access procedures.
System ManagementEffectively manage systems, including SharePoint, Autodesk BIM 360 Field, and BIM 360 Docs, to ensure that all documentation is stored efficiently and accessible at all times.
Document RegistrationCollect and register all technical documents, such as drawings and blueprints, in the Keltbray system.
Quality ControlReview and update documents for maintenance and quality control, ensuring that all documentation meets the required standards.
Metadata ManagementEnsure that documentation contains the necessary metadata for traceability, retrieval, and audit purposes.
Review and ApprovalSupport the review and approval process, including the collation, distribution, and close-out of comments.
Procedure ImplementationSupport the implementation of other relevant procedures, such as the TQ/RFI Database.
