- Lead and mentor a team of pastry chefs to ensure consistency in delivering high standards and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the hotel's culinary team to create a seamless and efficient kitchen operation.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a senior pastry chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
- Excellent bread making and dessert making skills, with a focus on presentation and flavor.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
