Shift Maintenance Engineer

ARC (Norwich) Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Shift Maintenance Engineer. This permanent position offers the chance to work on production shifts, supporting the implementation of new equipment and processes while ensuring uninterrupted production 24 hours a day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering maintenance and process issues that arise during shifts, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Support the implementation of new equipment and processes, collaborating closely with the production team to ensure seamless integration.
  • Ensure the client's ability to produce products continuously by proactively monitoring and maintaining machinery and equipment.
  • Provide feedback to the production management team regarding issues encountered during shifts and suggest improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety throughout all maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Formal apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in electrical, mechanical, and/or maintenance engineering.
  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems quickly and independently, based on analysis and factual evidence.
  • Computer literate, competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with computer maintenance management systems, such as Pirana used at our site.
