Role Summary

The Technical Lead will play a crucial role within the Digital Systems and Solutions Team, focusing on driving digital transformation and data initiatives. This position is essential for steering the technical direction of projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions, and leading a team of developers within an Agile framework.

The Technical Lead is expected to be both a hands-on coder and a strategic leader, capable of balancing high-level planning with detailed technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Vision: Establish and uphold the technical strategy for projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Architecture and Design: Ensure compliance with architectural guidelines, develop technical specifications, and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of performance and security.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to plan and execute project sprints effectively.
  • Problem Resolution: Tackle technical challenges, conduct research, and implement solutions to ensure project success.
  • Quality Control: Maintain code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices in software development.
  • Communication: Act as the primary technical liaison, conveying complex information to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure documentation is thorough and processes are continuously refined for efficiency.
  • Release Oversight: Manage the software release process, ensuring consistent and reliable delivery of products.
  • Automation: Implement automation tools to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
  • CI/CD Management: Establish and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to optimize workflow.
  • Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of systems architecture and deployment processes for future reference.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and provide training on best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience leading full-stack development teams.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science.
  • Over 8 years of experience in web development.
  • Proficient in C#, .Net Core, ASP .Net, Entity Framework, and Web API.
  • Familiarity with Python and frameworks such as Flask or Django.
  • Experience in developing APIs and RESTful services.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake for database management.
  • Experience with Angular for front-end development.
  • In-depth understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS) and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Strong team player who meets deadlines.
