About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Stores Person to join our team at HMP Parc & YOI, Bridgend. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for delivering meals around the outskirts of the prison, working in a busy environment as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking in and organising deliveries
  • Collecting food trolleys
  • Maintaining delivery area
  • Delivering meals around the outskirts of the prison (CAT C1 required)
  • Working in the kitchen in a team of 7 to assist in the delivery of meals 3 times a day
  • Ensuring stock rotation and using the FIFO method
Requirements
  • Cat C1 Driving license
  • Full DBS and HMPPS vetting is required, candidate can have no prior criminal record, however can start the role before all is cleared
  • Somewhat physically fit to push hot food trollleys onto a tail lift of a 7.5 tonne lorry
  • Positive, eager attitude and a great team player
