Job Title: General Service Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic General Service Assistant to join our team at Munster Barracks, DL9 3PZ. As a General Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting our team in delivering high-quality food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a clean and appealing manner.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Operate tills and handle cash, ensuring accurate transactions and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Clean back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, preparation, and public areas, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Perform basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services, ensuring that all food is prepared to a high standard.
  • Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise, maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing environment.
  • Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the course of the work.
Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided for the past 3 years.
  • Previous experience would be an advantage, but on-the-job training will be provided.
  • DBS check required.
Benefits:
