About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic General Service Assistant to join our team at Aramark. As a General Service Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and cooking, serving food and beverages to customers, operating tills and handling cash, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking, including preparing ingredients and cooking meals to a high standard.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Operate tills and handle cash, including processing transactions and handling customer payments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery, and restocking goods and supplies.
  • Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services, including preparing salads and sandwiches.
  • Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the course of the work.
  • Perform daily paperwork and follow food hygiene and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided for the past 3 years.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but on-the-job training will be provided.
  • DBS check required.
