Position Overview

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will possess extensive experience and technical expertise, executing a variety of intricate maintenance tasks on aircraft or their components.

At this level, the individual is expected to have a solid grasp of the approved Technical Information set and demonstrate competence in working independently with sanctioned data, maintenance guidelines, and in alignment with the organization’s Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).

They will exhibit the capability to assess and troubleshoot faults in equipment and assemblies, adhere to diagnostic protocols, and collaborate effectively within a team, while also providing mentorship to less experienced colleagues in a diverse and dynamic operational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Activities: Carry out and finalize assigned maintenance and diagnostic tasks on aircraft systems/components, which may encompass Aircraft Ground Handling, Flight Servicing, aircraft role alterations, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements, and/or functional/system testing.

Accountability: Demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to fulfilling responsibilities pertinent to the role and accept guidance as necessary.

  • Documentation: Maintain personal task authorizations for working on aircraft or components and ensure that maintenance is performed as scheduled, addressing any issues and escalating as required.
Performance Indicators
  • Ensure the effective execution of Part 145 activities by meeting delivery targets and reporting any impact on Continuing Airworthiness.
  • Recognize how individual actions contribute to overall performance delivery.
Compliance and Standards
  • Documentation: Ensure all Part 145 activities are accurately documented and that airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (both IT and paper-based).
  • Procedures: Adhere to the Part 145 Exposition, its associated procedures and standards, and any other applicable company procedures and standards, proposing changes as necessary.
Safety and Assurance
  • Safety Management: Apply Human Factors and Error Management philosophies to all Part 145 activities, understanding the risks involved and the methods for their mitigation.
  • Management System Assurance: Ensure compliance with the AM&S Governance and Assurance framework, including supporting Process Confirmations and independent assurance audits.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Statutory Requirements: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and application of the relevant Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory framework and support the implementation of any regulatory-driven changes.
  • Contractual Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable contractual requirements through support to contract reviews and the incorporation of necessary changes into Part 145 processes.
