Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Production Supervisor to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our aviation maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and supervision of aircraft mechanical maintenance within our base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Management: Ensure the effective management of Part 145 activities by setting delivery targets, monitoring progress, and developing performance improvement programs.
  • Activity Completion: Ensure all Part 145 activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems.
  • Procedure Compliance: Manage the Part 145 team's compliance with the Part 145 Exposition, its associated procedures, and standards.
  • Safety Management: Promote the application of Human Factors, Error Management, Risk Management, and Safety Assurance within the Part 145 team.
  • Management System Assurance: Ensure Part 145 team activities are compliant with the AM&S Governance and Assurance framework.
  • Statutory and Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrate a good understanding and application of the relevant Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory framework.
  • Contractual Requirements: Ensure compliance with all applicable contractual requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years of practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
  • Qualifications: Recognized degree or equivalent, or minimum 2 years of aircraft experience in a self-certifying position.
  • Certifications: Holding a Cat C certifying privilege, C&G 2661/2675, and NVQ Level 3 Aeronautical Eng. or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hawk T2/Mk167 Type Training: Preferred qualification.
  • 6 Months Experience on Type: Experience on type in the last two years.
