Position Overview

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will possess extensive experience and technical expertise, executing a variety of intricate maintenance tasks on aircraft or their components. This role demands a solid comprehension of the approved Technical Information set and the capability to operate independently according to sanctioned data, maintenance guidelines, and the organization's Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot faults in equipment and assemblies, adhering to diagnostic protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment while mentoring less experienced colleagues in a fast-paced operational setting.

Maintenance Activities

Carry out and finalize assigned maintenance and diagnostic tasks on aircraft systems/components, which may encompass:

  • Aircraft Ground Handling
  • Flight Servicing
  • Aircraft role modifications
  • Component removals and inspections
  • Repairs and modifications
  • Fault rectifications and replacements
  • Functional/system testing

Performance Standards

  • Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach to fulfilling responsibilities.
  • Maintain personal task authorizations for aircraft or component work.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are conducted on schedule, addressing any issues promptly.

Accountability Metrics

  • Guarantee the effective execution of Part 145 activities, meeting delivery objectives and reporting any impacts on Continuing Airworthiness.
  • Document all Part 145 activities accurately, maintaining airworthiness records in relevant systems.

Compliance and Safety

  • Adhere to the Part 145 Exposition and associated procedures, proposing necessary changes.
  • Implement Human Factors and Error Management principles in all Part 145 activities.
  • Ensure compliance with the AM&S Governance and Assurance framework.

Regulatory Knowledge

  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of the Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory framework.
  • Support the integration of any regulatory-driven changes into Part 145 activities.

Contractual Obligations

  • Ensure adherence to applicable contractual requirements, contributing to contract reviews and necessary adjustments in Part 145 processes.
