Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead our innovation efforts in nutrition and applications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering nutrition-focused projects from ideation to launch, while also managing the nutrition profile of our portfolio and providing technical expertise to our R&D team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new products and technologies that meet our business strategy and customer needs.
- Manage the nutrition profile of our portfolio, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Provide technical expertise to our R&D team, including guidance on ingredient functionality, recipe balance, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with our nutritionist to ensure that our products meet the latest regulatory requirements and consumer trends.
- Develop and implement clean label and nutrition improvement solutions to existing product portfolios.
- Lead by example, demonstrating Premier Leadership Behaviours and inspiring ownership among team members.
Requirements:
- Strong line management skills with a proven track-record in delivering R&D agendas through high-performance teams.
- 3+ years of experience in R&D, nutrition, or applications, with a focus on product development and innovation.
- People management experience and skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- BSc/MSc in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Understanding of ingredient functionality, recipe formulation, and manufacturing scale processing.
- Understanding of food and labeling legislation.
