We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead our nutrition strategy for Sweet Treats, shaping the future direction of our business in response to changing consumer needs and external influences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of the R&D nutrition strategy for Sweet Treats
- Identify ingredients and processes that unlock competitive advantage and opportunity in terms of our broader ESG agenda
- Manage a high-performing R&D team to deliver objectives
- Provide technical expertise and guidance for ingredient functionality, recipe balance, process & application
- Support Company Nutritionist as required
Requirements:
- Strong line management skills with a proven track-record in delivering R&D agenda
- 3+ years R&D / Nutrition/Applications experience
- People Management experience/skills
- BSc/MSc Food Science/Nutrition or related degree
- Understanding of Ingredient Functionality, recipe formulation and manufacturing scale processing
- Understanding of Food & labelling legislation
