R&D Director

Premier Foods is a leading British food company with a rich history and a commitment to innovation. We are seeking a talented R&D Director to lead our nutrition strategy and drive growth through the development of new products and processes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in R&D, with experience in leading high-performing teams and delivering results-driven projects. They will be responsible for shaping our future direction in response to changing consumer needs and external influences, and for identifying opportunities to unlock competitive advantage through the use of new ingredients and processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development of our nutrition strategy and ensuring alignment with our broader business objectives
- Managing a team of R&D professionals to deliver projects from ideation to launch
- Collaborating with our Company Nutritionist to ensure the nutrition profile of our portfolio is aligned with our business strategy
- Providing guidance to the R&D team on clean label and nutrition improvement solutions
- Developing and implementing training programs to upskill the broader sweet team
