Job Title: Production Support Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Support Coordinator to join our team at Northstone Materials. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the production team, ensuring the smooth operation of our Tile factory in Toomebridge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the ordering and receipt of goods, including consumables and raw materials, and maintain accurate records of spending.
  • Coordinate the administration of invoices and orders, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Act as a key point of contact between external companies and different departments within Northstone, providing excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Provide administrative support in the processing of wages for weekly paid employees.
  • Assist in stock counts of stores and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Aid the Accounts and Health & Safety departments in opening new accounts for companies and contractors.
  • Minute taking and distribution of actions and next steps at meetings.
  • Update reporting software with daily information and support production information boards.
  • Conduct Health and Safety Inductions and provide general office duties, including filing, updating, scanning, copying, email queries, and answering phones.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Keen attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • A good team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and understand the importance of deadlines.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience in the use of Financial Accounting Software.
