Job Description

Rivan Industries is a pioneering synthetic fuel company dedicated to decarbonizing heavy industry. Our innovative power-to-fuel machine is designed for low-capital deployment and is powered entirely by utility-scale solar energy. We have developed a unique business model that aims to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping CO2 locked underground.

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in building the circuitry across our system, coupling with solar energy, and supporting the control system. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Build Effective Solar Power Systems
    • DC solar to DC load coupling with limited middleware or controls
    • Design and build electrical components for control system
    • Transient operation of system
  • Implementation of Control System
    • Test bench and full-scale electrical prototype systems
    • Sensors
    • Controls
    • Load shifting
  • Design Electrical System Safety Process
    • Deployment and operation
    • Component, stack, and system level
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Large-scale DC Power system design, build, and operation experience
  • Experience in handling and prototyping DC systems
