Wealth Management UK, Business Applications Division

Recently, we have appointed a Head of Business Applications to assist the WMUK division in defining and developing new IT services that address rapidly changing business requirements and support growth.

The Power Platforms Systems Specialist will report directly to the Head of Business Applications and collaborate closely with key business stakeholders across Wealth Management, as well as Group IT and local IT teams in various locations.

Role Overview

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Power Platforms Systems Specialist to join our Business Applications team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing, customizing, and maintaining our Power Platforms system to enhance our operational capabilities. You will engage with stakeholders to identify their requirements, configure and tailor the system accordingly, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.

You possess a pragmatic approach, adept at balancing business requirements with complexity. You stay abreast of technological advancements in the Power Platforms domain and promote a culture of continuous improvement—learning from past experiences and proposing innovative solutions within the Power Platforms landscape. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Business and IT teams across the organization, ensuring the Power Platforms system remains maintainable and supportable.

This position is primarily based in London, with occasional travel to other locations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Configuration and Customization: Work with business stakeholders to ascertain their needs. Configure and customize the Power Platforms system to fulfill these requirements.
  • Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data. Oversee data imports and exports.
  • User Management: Administer user accounts and security roles. Provide training and support to end-users for effective utilization of the Power Platforms system.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor and sustain the Power Platforms system. Implement updates and patches as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Engage with cross-functional teams. Effectively communicate project status and issues to stakeholders.

Experience & Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Platforms, including Dynamics 365 (preferably within financial services) and Power Automate/Power Apps.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Power Platforms/Dynamics 365 Administrator.
  • Skilled in integrating across the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Expertise in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365.
  • Strong grasp of data management principles within Power Platforms.
  • Experience with data integration and migration processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft App Source.
