Job Summary:

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team as a Bank Chef at Llwyn Teg. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, fresh meals to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents and staff, ensuring a varied and culturally sensitive diet.
  • Cater for special events and celebrations, providing exceptional food and service.
  • Order supplies within budget and company guidelines, maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Welfare policies.
  • Manage the Catering Team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food preparation and service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH guidelines, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Ability to manage a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
