About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Spire Cardiff Hospital. As a Bank Chef, you will be responsible for producing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional food and service standards in all areas of hospitality
  • Support the head/senior chef in maintaining kitchen standards and ensuring a safe working environment
  • Ensure all HACCP procedures are adhered to and maintain a high level of food hygiene
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of assistance between kitchen and server staff
Requirements
  • Previous Chef/Cookery experience
  • NVQ level 2 or higher preferred
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Relevant certificates or willingness to undertake specialist training
  • Knowledge and experience in similar establishments
  • Professional self-starter able to work unaided
