Job Summary:

Alecto Recruitment is seeking a skilled Fire Security Specialist to join our client's team in Glasgow and surrounding areas. As a Fire Security Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and commissioning fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and other related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, maintain, and commission new and existing fire and security systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and regulations.
  2. Conduct thorough site surveys to identify and assess fire and security risks, and develop effective solutions to mitigate these risks.
  3. Collaborate with the client's team to ensure seamless integration of fire and security systems with other building systems.
  4. Perform regular maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems, including testing and certification.
  5. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on fire and security best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of fire and security systems, regulations, and standards.
  2. Excellent technical knowledge and practical skills in installation, maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of fire and security systems.
  3. Full driving license and willingness to travel across the Glasgow area.
  4. Relevant qualifications in fire and security engineering or equivalent, such as a degree in Fire Safety Engineering or a related field.
  5. CSCS/ECS card preferred, and FIA Units 1 & 5 qualifications would be an advantage.
