About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team at Searchability NS&D. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on various HSE matters to our clients' employees.
  • Support the objectives of our clients' HSE management systems and strategies.
  • Conduct internal audits of HSE management systems to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver comprehensive Health and Safety inductions to new employees, ensuring they understand our HSE policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with our clients' HSE teams to contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of HSE strategies.
  • Participate in or lead HSE investigations as needed, ensuring thorough and timely resolutions.
  • Manage HSE training requirements and platforms, ensuring our employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely.
  • Coordinate with our HR team on occupational health, display screen equipment assessments, and other necessary adjustments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in EcoOnline reviews and ensure accurate input of employee and environmental data to support our HSE management systems.
  • Support the planning and execution of external audits, including ISO 45001, 45003, and 14001 management standards, to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper management and storage of HSE-related documents and artifacts for accessibility by stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH HSE certificate (essential or working towards)
  • Proficiency in functional HSE management systems
  • Strong understanding of HSE and Environment Agency websites
